Tom Mohr joins us as MCHS’s special guest for an informal discussion on “Digging Up the Past: An Informal Guide to Ontario Archaeology”. He will talk about his experiences as an archaeologist and history from his unique perspective.
Tom is a co-founder of the Pickering Township Historical Society and helped to open the doors of Lindsay’s Olde Gaol Museum as a former Director and President of the Victoria County Historical
Society.

A licensed archaeologist, he is also a founding member and currently President of the Peterborough Chapter of the Ontario Archaeological Society. Tom is currently co-editing a book of Old
Victoria County history and lore, in tribute to the late Rae Fleming.
